Music for halloween party....?

You could start with Halloween music as your guests are entering the party. I don't know what kind of setup you have going on exactly, but are you going to have some sort of creepy entrance to the party area set up? Like for my party for example, the entrance will be a graveyard with fog machines and strobelights and stuff. In that area, I am playing the spooky music. Once everyone arrives and gets settled in though, it's party time! I included on my invites that I would like a list of 5-10 songs from everyone that they would like to have played. Whatever songs they want that I don't already have in my collection I will just download for them. That way everyone will be pleased with what we are listening to. It will probably be a mixture of pop, hip hop, punk and metal. Oh, by the way, my opening song for the entrance area for when people start arriving is This Is Halloween from The Nightmare Before Christmas....a fitting choice I think.
