Girls does this usually freak you out?

so me and this girl live in a different city, and I told her I liked her for a second time. the 1st time we lived near each other but she had a long distance bf? lol she called herself single but wouldn't get with anyone else because she liked him. Apparently that fell off, and now she likes me back and has started seriously flirting with me now that I told her again. My problem is that im way too much of a hopeless romantic and I just bombard her whenever shes available because shes still nice to me when I do, but after like 3 days she hasn't responded to the compliments as well as before...What's happening!?
