Is it Just Me or are guns getting way to expensive.?

In the 1880's, a cowboy could buy one of the popular revolvers for about $25, but his monthly income was likely $30. It's periodically nice to get dirt-cheap military surplus firearms (until you count the costs of the wars that generally were behind them), but being spoiled on occasion by great deals shouldn't make us forget that prices in relation to wages have not been too bad, overall.
