I have always wanted to be in the showbiz industry but my parents want me to be a doctor?

Your parents are NOT the owner of your life. You can do whatever you want to make you happy in life. You sound like your an amazing actor and your parents should respect that. If you have this dream you really should follow it, not be surpressed by your parents wants for you. They are not you. Most likely, this is because they had their own dreams of being a doctor so they want to make you one. Or it is because they really do love you and want you to be financially secured, which a doctor would most definitly do... Regret weighs 100+ tons on your shoulders and you would never wan that to happen. Go with your heart. I think (from your argument) that you should be whatever truly makes you happy- which sounds like acting. Being both and actor and doctor is a really hectic life, wiht all the shows and preformanes... with all the emercegency calls and blood... Either go to Julliard and be happy or Princeton and be miserable.
